Amityville
Dominican Village – Volunteers do light cleaning, housekeeping, and watering plants.

Babylon
Mitchel Park – Volunteers clean the park and pick up garbage.
Parks and Recreation – Heather Moore and Joseph Maniglia from Carol Street provided park clean-up as part of the beautification project in the Town of Babylon.
Robert Moses Beach Clean Up – The ladies at the Commack IRA picked up the trash at their loval beach during the summer.

Bayville
Food Basket – Volunteers level the shelves in the store to rotate the food.
Rosewood Rehabilitation Center – Volunteers set the tables for lunch.
Village Church Thrift Shop – Volunteers sort, organize and hang clothes on hangers.

Bethpage
Bethpage Parks and Recreation – Richard Krinsky at the Ontario IRA volunteers by cleaning up the park at Bethpage.

Brookville
Animal Lover’s League – Volunteers socialize the animals.

Central Islip
Bethany Inn – Volunteers do mailings and collate papers.
Christ Episcopal Church – Volunteers to help organize the food pantry; clean and organize the thrift shop.

Cold Spring Harbor
Whaling Museum and Education Center – Sarah Chardovoyne from the Pickwick IRA volunteers to set up the arts and crafts for the children who visit the museum.

Commack
Suffolk JCC – Volunteers complete mailings.

Freeport
Bobbi and the Strays Shelter – Heather Moore and Joseph Maniglia from Carol Street volunteer to per the animals in the local shelter in Freeport.
Book Fairies – Volunteers pick up, deliver and sort books.  Volunteers also supply them with copy paper boxes.
Freeport Inn – Volunteers organize the food pantry.
Helen Keller Foundation – Volunteers do recreation with seniors.
Savor Thrift Store – Volunteers sort clothes.

Glen Cove
The Council Committee for the Boys Club of Glen Cove – The Citizens council hosted a car wash and donated proceeds to the Boys Club of Glen Cove
Glengariff Rehabilitation Center – Volunteers do recreation with seniors.
Senior Center – Volunteers serve lunch, clean up and work in the thrift shop.
Sterling Glen of Glen Cove Nursing Home – Volunteers clean tables

Glen Head
Glen Head Civic Association – Jonathan Drexler is a member of the Glen Head Civic Association and attends annual meetings.
Glen Head Town Hall 
Our Saviour Lutheran Church – Jonathan Drexler and Jake Rosenthal from the William Street IRA donate their clothing once it no longer fits to the church.

Senior Center – Volunteers run the book cart

Hempstead
Assisted Living Hempstead – Volunteers are companions with seniors.
Hempstead Head Start Program – The Citizens Council hosted a toy drive to donate toys to the head start program.
The United Methodist Church – Those supported at the Front Street IRA and the Carol Street IRAs volunteered to plant two dozen daffodil bulbs in the church garden to beautify the church grounds in Hempstead.  Additionally, Candace Bahr from the Wantagh Co-ops volunteers in the soup kitchen, serving good and speaking with the less fortunate.

Huntington
Carillon Nursing/Rehabilitation Facility – Volunteers do recreation with seniors.
Huntington Hills Center for Health and Rehabilitation – Volunteers assist in the beauty salon and with recreational activities for seniors.

Levittown
Forgotten Friends of LI Inc. – Volunteers do mailings and socialize animals.

Massapequa
Goodwill – Volunteers stock the shelves and organize the clothes.
Our Lady of Lourdes – Josephy Levy from the Northport IRA assists with distribution of meals at the church.
Temple Sinai – Volunteers clean the Temple and deliver food to Island Harvest.

Salvation Army – Volunteers ring the bell as part of the annual bell ringing campaign.

Ronald McDonald House – Volunteers bake cookies and cupcakes for the children in the house.

Oyster Bay Animal Hospital – Volunteers bake dog biscuits and deliver them to the animal hospital.
Senior Center – Volunteers serve lunch, clean up and run the dishwasher.

POB-JCC – Volunteers clean the toys in the children’s nursery and do mailings.
Saint Margaret’s Church – Karen Zorn and Clifford Nouza with the help of their staff at the ICF fold the church’s program.

Diocesan RVC Food Pantry/Thrift Store – Volunteers stock shelves and sort clothes.
Mercy Hospital – Volunteers do mailings.

Rockville Centre Jewish National Fund – Volunteers do mailings.

Sid Jacobson Center – Volunteers assist with recreation and cleaning gym equipment.

Sands Point Rehabilitation Center – Volunteers assist with recreation and provide companionship.

Horsability – Volunteers groom and care for horses and clean stables.
Pets for Love Animal Shelter – Bonnie Lerihan from the Seaford IRA volunteers cleaning cages, feeding the animals and grooming the animals to prepare them for adoption.

Circle of Love – Volunteers do mailings.

Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County – The Citizens Council collected toys for underprivileged kids.

Island Harvest – Volunteers pick up food from restaurants and deliver it to families in need.

Library Book Mark Program – Volunteers make bookmarks and donate to public libraries.

LICC Food Pantry – Volunteers stock shelves.

Meals on Wheels – Volunteers pick up and deliver meals.

Recycling Nassau County – Volunteers collect batteries and drop them off at various drop off points.

Rock Can Roll – Volunteers collect cans and donate them.

Senior Food Shopping – Volunteers shop for seniors.

Beyond Long Island 

Cell Phones for Soldiers – Volunteers collect cell phones and ship them out.

Lennox Hill Hospital – William Turits from the Greenlawn IRA recycles bottles and give proceeds to help sick children in Lennox Hill Hospital.

Angel Wings Foundation – Matt Hofele knits hats for infants with cancer.

Juvenile Diabetes Foundation – Matt Hofele from the Greenlawn IRA knits hats and scarves and sells them.  All proceeds are donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
